COURSE CONTENT
Embedded Fundamentals — Microcontroller architecture, memory types (Flash, RAM, EEPROM), GPIO, timers, interrupts, UART/SPI/I2C communication, basic C programming for embedded systems, debugging techniques.
CAN Architecture — CAN bus topology, frame types (Data, Remote, Error, Overload), bit stuffing, arbitration, error handling, CAN FD overview. Hands-on — Build your own CAN bus analyzer, message filtering, bus load analysis.
CANalyzer Tool — Setting up CANalyzer, trace window, graphics window, logging & replay. CAPL Scripting — CAPL syntax, event procedures, message sending/receiving, test modules, automating test cases with CAPL.
UDS (ISO 14229) — Diagnostic sessions, service IDs, ECU reset, read/write data by identifier, DTC management, security access, routine control. OBD-II — On-board diagnostics, PIDs, fault code reading.
HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) — HIL test bench setup, real-time simulation, signal injection, fault injection testing. Test Automation — Writing automated test scripts, test reporting, regression testing in automotive projects.
ISO 26262 Overview — ASIL levels (A–D), hazard analysis & risk assessment, safety goals, functional safety concept, software safety requirements, safety validation and verification.
